Body Solid Landmine Land Mine Olympic Plate Pivot Post LMPP Body-Solid LMPP Landmine Olympic Plate Pivot Post - The Landmine Plate Pivot from Body-Solid is a portable rotational training base which inserts into the center hole of Olympic weight plates to create an anchor system for functional core training using an Olympic barbell. As part of Body-Solid's Landmine Attachment (LMA) series, the Landmine Plate Pivot is intended for use with an Olympic bar and Olympic weightlifting plates or bumper plates. Start by inserting the post end of the portable landmine into the center hole of 2-3 stacked plates. The heavier the stack of plates, the more secure your "anchor" end will be on the floor without sliding or tipping, especially when performing heavy strength training movements or dynamic rotational training movements. Next, insert one end of your Olympic bar into the pivot sleeve connected to the top of the post. Add weight plates to the opposite end of the Olympic bar for resistance. You now have enabled a landmine total core station for performance of weighted bar presses and swings. Perform T-bar rows or bent over row exercises using a double D handle or a bar attachment designed for rows and pulls on the resistance end of the bar. The Body-Solid Post Landmine Trainer offers 360-degree multi-planar movement for functional strength training with free weights since the post will turn freely to either side inside the anchor stack of weight plates, and the pivot allows the Olympic bar to raise and lower from ground level to full extension overhead. At a weight of only 5 pounds, this handy workout bar training tool is highly portable and can create a landmine exercise base anywhere indoors or outdoors where weight plates are available.
